For car audio fitters

Refitting a factory radio? Get the code before the car goes back

When an aftermarket head unit comes out and the factory radio goes back in, it will ask for its 4-digit code. Order it from the serial and have it ready on fitting day.

Refits sorted

Customers selling their car often want the original radio back in. Have the code ready when you refit it.

Old units sold on

Selling the factory radio you removed? It's worth more with the code included.

Several at once

Paste every serial into one quote: 10% off 3+ radios and 15% off 10+.

Good to know

  • The code belongs to the radio, not the car. Moving a radio between cars doesn't change it.
  • Read the serial (starting VWZ, AUZ, SKZ or SEZ) from the label, not the part number, which starts with digits.
  • Touchscreen MIB units with Component Protection don't use a 4-digit code.

Questions

Trade FAQ

Does the code change if the radio goes into a different car?

No. The code is set for the radio's serial, so it stays the same whichever car it's fitted to.

How do I pay?

Paste your serials into the bulk quote form and we email you a secure Stripe invoice. Pay it by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and the codes are sent once it's paid.

Which radios do you cover?

VW, Audi, Škoda and SEAT factory radios that use a 4-digit code and have a 14-character serial starting VWZ, AUZ, SKZ or SEZ. Not MIB touchscreens with Component Protection.

What if a code doesn't work?

Send us a short video showing the serial label and the code being rejected. Once checked, you get your money back for that code.
