Radio locked after a battery job? Sort it before the customer collects
VW, Audi, Škoda and SEAT radios lock to SAFE whenever the power is cut. Order the code from the serial and have it by email in 1–3 hours on average, without sending the customer to a dealer.
No dealer visit
Main dealers can charge a lot more and take longer. You keep the job and the customer.
Order from the workshop
Paste the serial while the car is still on the ramp. Codes arrive by email, ready for when you need them.
Several cars at once
Add every serial from the week's jobs to one quote and pay one invoice, with 10% off 3+ radios.
Avoid SAFE in the first place
- Use a memory saver (an OBD power supply) during battery changes. If the radio never loses power, it doesn't ask for a code.
- Before disconnecting the battery, ask the customer if they have the radio code card from the service book wallet.
- If the radio shows SAFE 2 or a timer, leave the ignition and radio on for an unbroken hour before entering the correct code.

Questions
Trade FAQ
Can I order a code for a customer's car?
Yes, as an authorised motor trade technician working on the vehicle with the owner's permission. Every order includes a declaration confirming that.
How do I pay?
Paste your serials into the bulk quote form and we email you a secure Stripe invoice. Pay it by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and the codes are sent once it's paid.
Which radios do you cover?
VW, Audi, Škoda and SEAT factory radios that use a 4-digit code and have a 14-character serial starting VWZ, AUZ, SKZ or SEZ. Not MIB touchscreens with Component Protection.
What if a code doesn't work?
Send us a short video showing the serial label and the code being rejected. Once checked, you get your money back for that code.
